Vibin’ with Ge and Celeste

AI and other transformative technologies that seem to tap creativity also tap into our most cherished ideas and deepest anxieties about what makes us human. AI begs answers to thorny questions about authenticity, valuation, provenance, creator compensation, artist copyright, and, by putatively automating creativity, insists we question tacit assumptions about the very nature of creativity and the creative process.

This closing session will have an exciting demo and live performance by our very own Stanford faculty and student!

Speakers

Associate Professor, Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA); Department of Music and, by courtesy, of Computer Science, Stanford University
Doctoral Student, Stanford Department of Music
