PhD Student in the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA), Stanford University
Camille Noufi is a third-year PhD candidate in the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford University. She is fascinated by the human voice as a means of both functional and expressive communication. Her research utilizes audio signal processing, machine learning, perception studies and human-computer-interaction to study expressive voice. Her PhD is an opportunity to 1) study how technologies can leverage the voice as a biomarker and 2) utilize the voice to augment expressive, humanistic, and inclusive technological interaction.
