Daniel Rock

Stanford Digital Economy Lab Digital Fellow

Daniel Rock is an Assistant Professor of Operations, Information, and Decisions at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His research is focused on the economics of technology and digitization, with an emphasis on the economics of AI and machine learning systems. He has worked on projects measuring IT-related intangibles and the growth of the digital economy, the business value of AI skills, and the exposure of the U.S. economy to ML technologies. He received his PhD from MIT Sloan in 2019.
