Jim Breyer

Jim Breyer is the founder and CEO of Breyer Capital, a global venture capital firm based in Austin, TX and Menlo Park, CA. He currently serves as a director of Blackstone and previously served on the boards of 21st Century Fox, Facebook, and Etsy. Jim was a member of the President and Fellows of Harvard College (the Harvard Corporation) and chairman of the Advisory Board at the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management. He serves as a trustee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, SFMOMA, and the American Film Institute. At Stanford he is a founding member of the Dean’s Advisory Board at the School of Engineering, chairman of the Stanford Engineering Venture Fund, a past member of the Parents’ Advisory Board, and a longtime reunion volunteer. Jim received his undergraduate degree from Stanford and MBA from Harvard Business School.
