Joshua Rines

Josh's research focuses on leveraging machine learning to advance our understanding of the cryosphere under a warming climate. In particular, he employs deep learning methods to enhance datasets of meltwater features across the Greenland Ice Sheet with the goal of providing higher-fidelity data to forward models to reduce uncertainties in predicting glacial mass loss.
