Michael is a fourth year Computer Science PhD student, coadvised by Nigam Shah and Chris Ré. His research focus is on developing and operationalizing AI models in healthcare, with a particular interest in making large language models more factual and capable of executing full workflows. Michael graduated summa cum laude from Harvard in 2020 and is supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. Michael's research focus is on developing and operationalizing foundation models for healthcare.
