Ram Shriram

Ram Shriram is founder of Sherpalo Ventures, a venture investment company. He is a founding board member of Google (now Alphabet Inc.) and member of the board of Paperless Post and Yubico. As a technology industry insider for over 30 years, Ram has worked in companies large and small across all functional areas and through fluctuating business cycles. At Stanford, Ram is vice chair of the Board of Trustees, a board member of Stanford Seed, and a longtime advisor to the School of Engineering. Ram and his wife Vijay served on the Parents' Advisory Board when their daughters were Stanford students. Ram graduated from University of Madras with a degree in commerce.
