Adam Lavertu is a 5th year PhD candidate in the Biomedical Informatics Training Program. Adam's thesis work focuses on developing NLP methods to monitor social media chatter with the goal of improving drug safety. While at Stanford, Adam has also contributed to and led many different research efforts in areas ranging from pharmacogenetics to computer vision for healthcare automation.
