Dr. ZHOU Hui is the associate professor and the deputy director of the faculty of Cyber and Information Law, the Institute of Law, CASS. He was a visiting scholar to Paul Tsai China Center at Yale Law School in 2023. He is the Standing Deputy Secretary-General of China Cyber and Information Law Society, Deputy Secretary-General of the Personal Information Protection Work Committee of the Internet Society of China, member of the Expert Committee of the China Consumers Association. His main research areas are Cyber Governance, Data Governance and AI Governance and related legal issues. He has participated in the drafting of China's Personal Information Protection Law, Data Security Law and Cyber Security Law. Currently he is leading the drafting of China's first Artificial Intelligence Model Law(expert proposal).
