Jamie Halper
Jamie Halper, BA ’81 (Economics), is chair of the Blue Owl Opportunity Lending Fund and serves as an advisor and investment committee member of Blue Owl Strategic Equity Fund. Jamie is a former partner at Leonard Green and Partners and continues to serve on corporate boards. He has worked more than 30 years in private equity, including an earlier role as cofounder and president of TDA Capital Partners, a private equity firm with direct investments in developing countries and offices in India, Central Europe, and the Middle East.
Jamie recently served on The Stanford Board of Trustees and was chair of the Board Finance Committee, stepping down in October 2023. He also served on the board of the Stanford Management Company, which manages the Stanford endowment, and on the board of the Stanford Alumni Association. He was previously advisory chair of Stanford’s Haas Center for Public Service and served on the advisory board of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies. He is a cofounder and current chair of Step Up Tutoring, a nonprofit organization that has partnered with the Los Angeles Unified School District and other districts to provide free online tutoring to students in under-resourced communities. He serves on the advisory board of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations.
He earned his Bachelor's from Stanford and his Master’s of Business from Harvard. Jamie and his wife Priscilla have four children and reside in Los Angeles.
