The African Olympiad Academy is a world-class high school dedicated to training Africa’s most promising students in mathematics, science, and artificial intelligence through olympiad-based pedagogy.

Ge Wang is a Stanford CS professor, tech entrepreneur, musician, and HAI Faculty Affiliate. His book Artful Design is a manifesto of how we shape technology and a meditation on how technology shapes us. From engineering to art and form to function, Wang walks the reader through the design of tools, toys, games, apps, instruments, and social experiences. Event moderated by Jasmine Sun (Stanford Sociology) and Ben Wolfson (National Cancer Institute).

This event series is hosted and managed by Reboot, which is an event series and newsletter that convenes book-lovers, writers, and technologists to imagine the future of tech, humanity, and power.
