
Dian Wang is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford HAI. His research lies at the intersection of Machine Learning and Robotics, with a focus on improving robot learning efficiency through geometric deep learning. Prior to joining Stanford, Dian earned his Ph.D. in computer science from Northeastern University. Dian was awarded the outstanding paper award finalist at Conference on Robot Learning 2024, the JPMorgan Ph.D. Fellowship in 2023, and the Northeastern Outstanding Ph.D. Student Award in 2025.
