
I’m a PhD candidate in the Department of Statistics. My research develops statistically grounded data science methods for adaptive decision-making under heterogeneous conditions, with a focus on problems in energy systems and healthcare. In energy systems, I collaborate with the National Laboratory of the Rockies to develop weather-aware electricity pricing methods that use forecasts and demand patterns to reduce grid stress and improve resilience to extreme weather. In healthcare, I develop personalized learning methods that account for patient heterogeneity to improve risk prediction and clinical decision-making.
