External Bio

I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science, where I am advised by Brian Hie. My research develops DNA language models to enable safe AI-driven design of novel biological sequences and systems. More broadly, I am interested in building machine learning methods that make biological design more predictable and programmable. Previously, I earned B.A. degrees in computer science, applied mathematics, and statistics from UC Berkeley.
