Samantha is a doctoral researcher at Stanford where she examines risk and safety issues related to emerging technologies. Professionally, her work has spanned finance, tech, and law—she has done everything from assessing AI companies to helping individuals pursue legal action for Clean Air Act violations, exposures to dangerous pesticides, and data breaches. She holds a First Class Honours MA from the University of St. Andrews and a law-conversion degree.
