peoplePostdoctoral Fellows

Sizhu Lu

Postdoctoral Fellow, Stanford HAI

I am a Data Science Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University, working with Lihua Lei, Guido Imbens, and Kevin Chen. Previously, I received my PhD in Statistics from the Department of Statistics at UC Berkeley, where I was very fortunate to be advised by Professor Peng Ding.

My research focuses on causal inference and semiparametric efficiency theory, with an emphasis on developing robust and efficient methods for estimating causal effects in complex settings involving post-treatment variables, longitudinal observations, interference, and modern experimental designs. I also work on empirical applications in the social sciences and public health.
