Our November session is Scaling Training Across GPUs and Nodes with speaker Zoe Ryan. This session focuses on efficient strategies for using multiple GPUs and nodes. We will discuss how to deploy strategies of data parallelism and model parallelism to scale to multiple GPUs through PyTorch, enabling faster training times and better model performance.
Location: CoDa W401 & Zoom
Refreshments and snacks provided

The Center for Decoding the Universe (C4DU) Fall Forum brings together researchers in astrophysics, data science, AI/ML, and related fields to share recent progress, exchange ideas, and develop new collaborations. The Fall Forum will explore time-domain science in the era of Rubin, including time-series foundation models, and experimental design and optimization. Together, these themes explore how we can learn from complex, evolving datasets and use that knowledge to guide what we observe or measure next.
