Jer Thorp is an expert in data ethics and visualization, his creative works ranging from an algorithm to place names on the 9/11 memorial to data-collecting expeditions in the Okavango Delta. His book, Living in Data merges memoir, art, and analysis in describing the messy, fraught processes in which we create data and have data created of us.
