Generative AI has the potential to improve financial decision-making, but the research suggests that its impact is likely to vary across individuals. Consequently, while current general-purpose LLMs often provide advice that aligns with standard financial guidance, this advice is sensitive to demand and, therefore, differs systematically across users.
