Malika Aubakirova is a joint MBA/MPP candidate at Stanford. Prior to GSB, she was working in the cybersecurity space as a Senior Software Engineer, leading GCP wide OKRs in launching a Chronicle Detect to General Availability. As an undergraduate, she studied both Computer Science and Economics at the University of Chicago. Malika aims to explore the safety, security, and broader societal impacts of increasingly autonomous AI entities, with a keen interest in ensuring AI safety and ethical development.
