AI and Democracy: Pursuing the Possibilities
Event Details
Digital technologies have created the largest transformation in our era – how we work, socialize, build community, and participate in our governments have all been overhauled by digital tools and platforms.
The book Digital Technology and Democratic Theory examines how these digital tools have changed the way we participate as citizens in democratic governments. In this panel discussion, HAI Associate Director Rob Reich, Digital Civil Society Lab Director Lucy Bernholz, and Director of the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences Margaret Levi discuss their findings.
This event is co-sponsored by the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society (PACS).
