Research - Post-Bacc, Ethics In Society

Caroline is a Research Fellow in the Tech Ethics and Policy Rising Scholars Program at the McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society, where her work spans two areas: privacy and transparency research with Dr. Jennifer King, and AI policy research with HAI's Policy & Society team, focusing on topics in healthcare AI and AI sovereignty. Prior to Stanford, she researched how the tech industry has impacted the value of artistic labor and cultural ecosystems alongside music activist Jenny Toomey. Caroline holds a B.A. in Data Science and Economics from UC Berkeley. She enjoys making art, reading, and backpacking through California's state and national parks.
